Zack did not want to start scouts. He said he was scared because he didn't know any thing. We tried to tell him that is what scouts are for so you can learn. The only thing he did look forward to was the pine wood derby. Well he turned 8 just in time. They had the derby last night about a week after his birthday. Well, he was so excited last night that you could hardly keep him in a chair. He was even more excited last night after he won 3 prizes. He got an award for the wisest use of money (we needed his car to weigh more, his car had to be 5oz. or less, so we kept adding pennies to the car until we hit 5oz), he won 1st place for the fastest car in his wolf den and he won 1st place for the fastest overall car. He loved that he had the fastest car there. Lastest night will be a night he wont forget for awhile. Marc and I were just proud of him and glad that he had fun.
