Summer

Well it is definatly summer, to hot to do anything, to tired and sunburned, and to busy that time is flying past. It feels like it should be the first of July and instead it's almost the end. Well July has been busy. We had the fourth of July. The next week I went to girls camp for the week. Thanks to Marc's mom for coming and staying with the kids for us. The day after I got home Marc walked on the Zermatt team for the relay for life, so we spent the evening over there at the petting zoo, games, and watching the performaces. The kids liked that. The the next week we went boating with my brother and his family at deer creek. We thought we should play while the rest of our family was away. So as you can see it's a summer of fun and craziness, but we are loving it. Here are a few pictures.

The kids love fireworks. Zack loved them this year because Marc let him ligh all the fireworks. He felt so big. Brielle and Connor love sparklers and Brielle loved the glow sticks. I love getting to see the excitment in their faces.










The lake was great. The water was calm and not many other boats out. Marc and Zack got to learn how to drive the boat. Each of the kids got to take a turn out on the tube. I got to pull Weston wake boarding while was a little crazy at first since I haven't driven a boat in 8 years, but Weston wasa good sport and stuck with me until I got it down better.

A Day of Fun

Marc's friend from High school came up with his family from colorado to see family for the fourth. We all decided to get together and go to lagoon, a big amusment park with lots of rides and a water park. The kids have been wanting to go so we thought this would be fun. I get worried in big crouds with the kids, and lagoon usually is packed when ever I have gone, but they did great staying with us. This weekend ended upbeing a slow weekend, who would have guessed that the fourth week end would be slow. It was nice the kids could run and get on the rides without real long lines. Brielle loved the rides and wanted to do everything. I was proud of Zack. Sometimes he doesn't like roller coasters, but he rode a lot of them. I think his favorite was the Bat and the mild mouse. The bat is not to bad, but after I rode the wild mouse I remember why I hate it. I hate the feeling like it's going to drive right off the track or that you are going to tip over on every turn. Connor was big enough that he could ride a lot of the big roller coasters with an adult. He loved them. He really liked the bat too and the white rollar coaster. We thought we would go for part of the day and come home when the kids got tired. They went until the park closed at 11pm. The kids didn't get itred and the just wanted to keep going. Brielle took a long needed nap during the day which kept her going. It was fun to see the Coppinger's again. Marc loved having some on else to ride the big roller coasters with, I just don't like them like I use to. It was a great day and fun way to start our fourth of July weekend.

There is a fountain at the front of the park that water jumps and moves around. The rides ran through this until they were soaked. It was a great way for them to cool off in the heat of the day and it didn't take them long to dry off.
